To help advocates understand how to effectively navigate public and policymaker opinion on issues, I develop both messaging strategy guides and applied tools such as draft op-eds, legislative testimony, infographics and social media posts.

Animation provides a unique way to explain, succinctly, concepts and issues. Working with the inimitable Rob Shore of Picture this Productions, I produced this short animated explainer video about the causes, consequences and solutions to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Charts and infographics won't be effective no matter how clever the design if the data do not support the story advocates are trying to tell. I offer strategic advising on storytelling with data, and develop infographics and data visualizations that follow not just data visualization best practices (which are essential!) but also cognitive and framing science.
